Book Review: The Dragon Reborn (The Wheel of Time, #3)

★★★☆☆ 3 / 5

It’s alright. It is very similar in pace and scope to the second book. As usual with this series, the ending is the most satisfying part of the book. Removing Rand’s POV is a bold choice. It does help build the other characters, but we miss out on his internal conflict. There’s also interesting insight into how magic works in this universe.

At this point, I would expect the fourth book to change things up a little. Otherwise the series is going to get a little too formulaic for my taste.
